Hi @Anjana , Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum! Thank you for posting this question.

I can help you with providing more context to the pricing. Based on the current pricing tier of your Azure Maps account, you will be charged a predetermined set of amounts for different Azure services per 1000 transactions you make.

Here is an example of how few of the services are priced based on different tiers.

Consider traffic tiles from the above image. If you use traffic tiles service and your account is under tier 1, for every 1000 transactions, you will be charged with $4.50. Likewise, if you are under tier 2, you will be charged with $3 for every 1000 transactions.

Please refer this resource Azure Maps Transaction information by service to get detailed understanding on how a transaction is determined by service.

Utilize the resource Manage the pricing tier of your Azure Maps account to get more information on how to view and manage your service tier.

Please let me know if the above shared information is useful. Let us know if you need any additional clarification on this and we would be glad to help you.

When you use Azure Maps Services, the API requests you make generate transactions. Your transaction usage is available for review in your Azure portal Metrics report. For additional information, see View Azure Maps API usage metrics. These transactions can be either billable or non-billable usage, depending on the service and the feature. It’s important to understand which usage generates a billable transaction and how it’s calculated so you can plan and budget for the costs associated with using Azure Maps. Billable transactions will show up in your Cost Analysis report within the Azure portal.

    Hi Anjana,

We do have a helpful page at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-maps/understanding-azure-maps-transactions that might be of more assistance to you. If you work for a company that has an agreement like an EA with Microsoft. Make sure you are signed in with your corporate account and select that in the pricing calculator to apply any corporate level benefits your company may have with Microsoft.

    Sincerely,
