Disable Windows Lock Screen after inactivity on Windows 11

I am running Windows 11 Home Version 22H2 on my laptop and currently, the Windows Lock Screen is automatically activated after 10 mins of inactivity (i.e. requiring me to enter my login PIN each time after the inactivity) as I have set the screen to be turn off after 10 mins of inactivity on my 'Power & Battery' settings.

However, I would like to disable this feature i.e. I do not want to keep entering my login PIN each time.

Is there anyway that I can achieve this?

    Hi @CJ ,

This is called Dynamic lock, please refer to lock-your-windows-pc-automatically-when-you-step-away-from-it for how to disable it.

Another option is to use the PowerToys Awake utility, which also prevents the PC from sleeping.

I still want my screen to go blank, I just don't want it to lock automatically. My computer is mostly in my home. I am not working on sensitive data. Why am I forced to type in the pin each time? There used to be a check box in Windows 10 to disable the auto lock. Is there a registry hack or some way to do it on Windows 11?

PowerToys solve other problems, but not this particular question.

In the settings, go to Accounts >> Sign-in options, then under Additional Settings you can set "If you've been away, when should Windows require you to sign in again" to Never. This should give you what you want I think.
