Azure Tenant With No Global Admin

Question

I set up a Power Bi and Azure tenant for a new email domain. When signing up to power bi, I selected 'work or school account'. This created the power bi and azure tenant, but didn't set any administrator roles to my account.

I now have an azure tenant with a single account (mine) and no administrator roles. I cannot assign any new roles to myself or delete the tenant.

What is the solution to this?

Please see steps for Internal Admin Takeover in article below. You will need to create DNS entry for your email domain for verification purposes:
