Outlook 365 and Reminders

I have Outlook 365 (v2211 build 15831.20208 Click-to-Run) and it seems to be setting a default reminder of 15 minutes every time I set an appointment.
I have turned off reminders yet every time I save an appointment it sets a reminder.
If I change the reminder to 0 minutes and save the setting, Outlook changes it back to 15 minutes before saving.
How do I turn this off permanently, or at least so it obeys the fact I have the default reminder unticked?

    Hi @Greg Leversha ,

Have you verified that this is not managed by Group Policy?

If the option to display reminders is being managed by Group Policy, the registry key path is slightly different.

    Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\Policies\microsoft\office\<x.0>\Outlook\Options\Reminders

    Hi @Greg Leversha ,

To turn off the remainders, open Outlook, File > Options > Calendar, in the calendar option section, uncheck the option “default calendar” or set it to “0” and check.

Also turn of the option "show remainder.” To do that open Outlook, File > Options > Advanced, in the reminder section, unable the option “show reminder.” And click ok.

    Hi @Greg Leversha ,

As far as I know, we can only set a default reminder for the meeting I created in Outlook, which means the meeting reminder is set by the meeting organizer, if we want to change the reminder, we need to open and modify the reminder in the calendar (double click the item > change the reminder). 277763-1.png For your requirement, if you want to change multiple items more quickly, we can try to create a view based on "reminders" and drag these items directly into the group you want to make bulk changes: More details see this thread
