Azure Monitor - create dashboard to monitor disk space?

Hi Team,

Without guest OS monitoring or insights, do we have any way to monitor the disk space?

would like to monitor the disk space in dashboard, Kindly assist if any way is there.

To monitor disk performance metrics, you need to collect the data from the guest operating system, therefore you will need an agent, (for Azure Monitor it's the Azure Monitor Agent or Legacy Log Analytics Agent) which is instructed to collect the disk metrics. This can be done using VM insights or a simple data collection rule. Once the data is collected as logs or metrics, you can visualise them in an Azure Workbook, Azure Dashboard or a 3rd party solution like Grafana.

To summarize, you need something that can query and export the performance metrics inside the virtual machine operating system.
