Could you please let us know the reason why you are looking for an older version?

To test one of the application we need to use older version since customer is currently using 5.5 version so they are not able to upgrade and want to test the DB server with same 5,5 version . Before suggesting the migration approach we also planned to test their server with 5.5 and check what kind of road blocks are there and suggest them to use 5.7 version going forward.

Hello Poobalan,

The SQL Migration Extension in Azure Data Studio is now able to both assess and migrate databases to Azure SQL Database. Given the assessment engine is common across, it may be better to start any testing and approval process with that tool right away rather than waiting.

customer is currently using 5.5 version

And why not upgarding SSMA on customer side to the latest version?

Newer version always means bug fixes, performance & feature enhancements.
