Contacts catagerisation in Outlook 2016 gets deleted frequently.

Hello Team,

We do have a mailbox named John.Dave@contoso.com. Whenever we catagerize contacts in his Outlook 2016 it gets deleted frequently. He is the only person in entire organization who is facing this issue. Please suggest.

    Hi @Gurudas ,

    In order to verify, what detailed version of Outlook (File > Office Account > Outlook)?

    Does this issue also occur on the web side?

    If the issue doesn't exist on the web, it is recommended that you use the other below:

    1. Make sure the Outlook has the latest update.
    2. Run Outlook in safe mode
    3. Try creating a new Outlook profile.
      Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Add
      Add your account and see if the new Outlook profile works.

    If the issue persists, please try to Repair Office from the Control Panel

    Hi @Gurudas ,

    The General steps can be as follows:

    Go to File > Open & Export > Import/Export:

    Choose Export to a file, click Next, choose Outlook Data File(.pst), click Next and then select the mailbox, click Next and specify a location to save the PST file. For more details about the exporting process in Outlook, hopefully you can find the link below helpful: Back up your email

    Then you can restore later by importing.
