Hi,

The pricing calculator of Azure Front Door (Classic) is not showing East US region in Data Transfer Out. Also I am not able to clearly understand the Data transfer out from edge location to client.

I am trying to add the azure front door on the access restriction of a UI app service. The UI will interact with users (User will perform search/request/upload actions), UI will also interact with backend API to perform the server side tasks. So how can I estimate the pricing based on above scenario.

I am new to Azure front door, any references and articles will also be helpful.

Thanks

    Hi @Satyam Chauhan ,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well.

I understand that you would like to more about AFD Classic Pricing.

For Pricing, you can refer to the following document on the various components of pricing under AFD Classic Pricing

    User's image

    East US region comes under,

    User's image

    under Pricing Calculator

Now, for the amount of data transfer in/out, you can specify the amount of data transfer based on your application's expected usage.

Also, I see you are planning on to use WAF, so make sure you add that to the pricing calculator along with Custom Rules (for IP Restriction).

Kindly let us know if the below helps or you need further assistance on this issue.

    Thanks,

    Kapil
