What is best practice for how many workflows being used within one LogicApp standard?

@Laurens van de Venn Thanks for reaching out. There is no limit on the number of workflows that you can create for the standard logic app as mentioned here. The best practice is to have 10-15 workflows per logic app resource as documented here.

This number can be changed as per the workflows that you have define (actions/triggers), how frequent your workflow is triggered as it depends on the utilization of your standard logic app resource.

Hi MayankBargali,

At this moment we are in design/testing phase of the LogicApp.
We will have for now 34 workflows configured within that one LogicApp.
Each workflow has a recurrence action to check every 30 second if there are new messages on a servicebus queue and send max x messages to the next servicebus queue.

The most busiest workflow will send every 30 seconds 200 messages to the next servicebus queue.
On average we receive for this busiest workflow around 100K messages per day.

We have now configured app service plan WS1.

What would be your recommendation?

@Laurens van de Venn You would need to do the load testing to confirm if app service WS1 plan should be sufficient for your workload. It would not be possible to estimate whether the WS1 plan would be sufficient for your business needs. As the utilization would vary based on the number of actions, parallel branch in your workflow, frequency of execution etc. You can start with one instance of the WS1 plan and according to your workload you can scale out as per your needs. You will be scaling out the app service plan as logic app uses app service plan. For more details you can refer to this document for scale out.
