Mapping thin clients comport with rdp

Good day,

We have an environment where we are using HP T5550 Thinclient to connect to a windows server 2019 via RDP connection, we need the comport to be redirected with the connection. I can get the one terminal to redirect just fine, but when I redirect the second thin client it directs to com port 1 as well.

COM1 = \Device\RdpDrPort;COM1:10\tsclient\COM1.

My question is, Is it possible to redirect the second client's comport to com 2 instead of COM 1. I assume that the configuration of the terminal is where I need to start.

    Hello there,

    If you're using a firewall, make sure to configure your firewall to permit connections to the COM2.

    For normal remote connection starting via mstsc command on Windows 10 client, the port redirection is accomplished by enabling the port redirection policy on the target server and then checking the port redirection option in mstsc.
