Issue with FSLOGIX on RDS 2022

Hi All,

We have configured FSlogix on Windows server 2022 running rds role. First login is ok (the vhdx is correctly created). upon signout and login again , we are getting the error below. fslogix issue

thereby unable to logon unless the VHDx is deleted.

    Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to FSlogix user profile error.

    1. Try to Rename the user profile folder in profile storage container and logged again,
    2. Try to find wherever this VHD is attached, end up this invalid session and try to login one more time
    3. Check the logs for potential issue:

    Navigate to%PROGRAMDATA%\FSLogix\Logs\Profile

    Open the most recent file and find any ERRORs or WARNINGs. Many times it will tell you exactly what the issue is.

    hello all, these tests we have already done. indeed either renaming or deleting the vhdx the user can log on....but this is not possible in production environment. the error from fslogix is "log off failed". after log off we dont see any disk attached in disk management nor we any session opened about the user on the server. it seems the disk is not detached correctly at log off thereby at next logon , the logon fails.
