How to remove "From" when replying in Outlook

Hello,

I'd like to know if there is a way to remove the "From" drop box when replying to an email. This is possible when selecting a "New Email", but not when replying. To be clear, I only have one account linked in Outlook and it is the only default email.

Thank you in advance

Hi @Aholic Liang-MSFT This has nothing to do with NEW email, it is about REPLIES and it seems to be a recent change across Outlook. Despite having only one account in my Outlook client, the FROM field is displayed on every email I reply to. Yes, I can find it under OPTIONS and turn it off, but that's not a solution to turn it off EVERY TIME I REPLY to a message. It is disabled on the Ribbon as described above, but that impacts NEW EMAIL and does not change the behavior in REPLIES. I hope that helps to clarify the problem - it is NOT about NEW EMAIL. Apologies for yelling, but I think it needed clarification after seeing the same instructions across multiple threads around this issue.

    Hi @Dan Mercado ,

Thank you for the relevant details. I checked that the version of Outlook you provide is no different.

Then please refer to the following steps to check whether the From option is removed.

    1.       Click  new email-file- Options- Customize Ribbon.

    2.       Check if there is a FROM option in Show Fields of the right list.

    3.        If it's not here, find From on the left to add to right.

If the above does not work, it is recommended that you recreate a new profile for this account to see if there are differences.

    Hi,

I have the same issue and unable to find relevant information on how to disable the From button permanently.

    My outlook version is :

    Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2405 Build 16.0.17628.20006) 64-bit

Does anyone find out a way to disable that button ?
