Visual Studio 2015 update version

Question

I just ran the August 2022(KB5016316) security patch for VS pro 2015. No errors received after running the update, however the version number for VS 2015 is still on 14.0.25420.1 instead of what appears to be the new version with the update(14.0.27552.0). According to the article for the update, the verification for whether the update applied successfully is to check the libfbxsdk.dll file under 14.0\Common7\IDE\Extensions\Microsoft\VsGraphics. Since this is the case, can it be safely assumed that the security update did indeed apply correctly and is not intended to change the actual application version for VS pro 2015?

This document: Description of the security update for the remote code execution vulnerability in Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 Update 3: August 9, 2022 (KB5016316) does introduce the way to verify the installation.

May I ask, where did you find that after installing this security patch, VS 2015 version will change from 14.0.25420.1 to 14.0.27552.0? Please kindly share the related guide/documents/links with us to check further.
