How to confirm if updating password policy in Microsoft Endpoint Manager will block Biometric + PIN access?

We are updating our MDM (Intune) Compliance mobile and desktop compliance policies atm. We are confused as the documentation listed here (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/user-help/password-does-not-meet-it-administrator-requirements) states that you can set up biometric authentication for the personal.
Where would that be? We currently have that feature enabled but it could be due to not having the devices properly managed.

We can configure a compliance policy to require device password compliance. If the device password is not compliant, there is a notification in the company portal app. And we will follow the deatils of the notification to change the device password.
Based on my understanding, a compliance policy will not block biometric authentication.
