Greetings,

I have a general question about Azure Advisor.
We are being alerted for each new Azure Advisor recommendation vie Slack, meaning new recommendation pops out in Advisor we have a message on Slack in our channel.

But when I scroll up and see older recommendations let's say from last week they are now gone from the Advisor recommendation list but no action was taken to improve those recommendations.

I was trying to look at the documentation regarding this evaluation of the recommendations but couldn't find anything related.

Can someone explain how does Advisor works i.e how does it gives recommendations?

Why some recommendations are now in the recommendation board but when I re-visit the Advisor recommendation board after several days without any action take to fix those recommendations, they are gone from the list?

Azure Advisor automatically refreshes recommendations every 24 hours by scanning and analyzing resources across all your subscriptions. Azure Advisor allows you to dismiss or postpone recommendations on a single resource. If you dismiss a recommendation, you do not see it again unless you manually activate it. However, postponing a recommendation allows you to specify a duration after which the recommendation is automatically activated again.

That being said, as you mentioned, you are not able to view the recommendations that were available last week even though you haven't taken any action. Whenever the automatic refresh happens, the non-relevant recommendations disappear based on the service usage telemetry.
