For SharePoint Online permissions, How to have this checkbox unchecked by default?

Hi there,

On SharePoint Online, while grating permissions on a folder, the checkbox to grant permissions on subfolders even if they have unique permissions is checked by default.

How to have this checkbox unchecked by default?

Any PowerShell, or any other way?

Hi @frob ,

Unfortunately, according to my research and testing, "Share everything in this folder, even items with unique permissions" is checked by default, and you can change it to unchecked when granting permissions. There is currently no way to modify it through PowerShell.
