Excel pivot table don't preserve formating after update or expanding and collpsing a group

Hi,

I have several pivot tables that are connected to our database. when I change the cell color or formating and then update / refresh the pivote tible all the colors / formating disapear. please note that the option "Preserve cell formatting on cell update" is already on.

Can you help me fix this issue.

    How did you format the PivotTable in Excel?

    PivotTable cannot save custom cell formats, you need to create the custom PivotTable style and apply it for PivotTable.
