Sign-in Issue with Microsoft 365 App and Microsoft Authenticator app

Question

I recently switched Google Pixel 6 phones because the screen on my old phone was damaged and no longer worked. When I got the new Pixel 6 phone I couldn't transfer the data, so I had to use the most recent backup data for my new phone. When I went to use the Microsoft 365 App and the OneDrive App on my phone, the sign-in didn't work. I would sign-in to Microsoft 365 or OneDrive and the apps said they would send a sign-in request to my phone. When I clicked on send notification, the Apps generated a number and gave instructions to Check Microsoft Authenticator and tap the number shown on the page. Unfortunately the Microsoft Authenticator App didn't generate any numbers and didn't show any notification that it had received a sign-in request. When I sign into my Microsoft account on my computer, the Microsoft Authenticator App does receive a notification of a sign-in request. The notification for my computer is different than the notification for the phone apps. The computer sign-in notification is a sign-in request with the option to approve or deny the request. The computer sign-in worked and I had no issues. I chatted with someone from the Microsoft Office department and they could not resolve the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
