I'm not disagreeing with you, though. Microsoft's treatment of PowerShell is a dumpster fire. Too many product groups pulling (or pushing) in different directions. Product groups that don't keep up with changes, the confusion with Windows PowerShell and the multi-platform PowerShell 7 and what works and what doesn't, the introduction of breaking changes, etc.
