Can i convert a migrated 2008 OS VM from Gen2 to Gen1 in azure ?

I have migrated a VM from On-Prem to azure and OS version is 2008 !! However its migrated as Gen2 !! Can i convert that to Gen1 ? Issue here is 2008 OS VM is not booting with Gen2 !!

    Hi,

    As per Microsoft "Migration and modernization tool migrates UEFI-based machines to Azure as Azure generation 2 VMs. If you want to migrate them to Azure generation 1 VMs, convert the boot-type to BIOS before starting replication, and then use the Migration and modernization tool to migrate to Azure"

    I would suggest you to verify that Its get migrated to Gen-2 as Gen-2 VMs are UEFI based which supported on Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016, 2012 R2, 2012 , Windows 10 and Windows 11.
