Calendar list update and color change process

Question

We have calendar list when user select below item and click on 3 dots and then when user clicks on "Add time from timeline option" on above it should added respective month but it is not happening.

ex: in the below when they select item for example august and once added , in the above also it should be showing in the green with month.

and also customer wants to change the color of the tasks blocks in the different timelines, he noticed that other administrator of site able to do. how we can achieve that, please suggest.

and second question user is having contribute access above add or remove button circled one is grade out for him since yesterday, earlier it is fine.

Current status:

I shared one blog with customer which shows that "the limit is 10 timeline in a single time line view" and then agreed.

Whether all tasks cannot be inserted into timeline or only one task?

To change timeline color, first click the timeline then click Highlight Color.
