Unable to publish the latest changes to the APIM Developer portal

I have a requirement to customize the APIM developer portal. I had worked on some of the customization in the APIM developer portal and saved all the changes which i made. when i try to publish the latest changes to the apim developer portal.it throws the error as Failed to update the portal revision. Below is the screenshot

Chethan Parashuram Thanks for posting your question in Microsoft Q&A. This issue is similar to other thread, and I have described about the known issue we have in publishing the developer portal and also, shared the workaround steps to mitigate the issue.

Thanks for the workaround steps but need much clarification on these steps.

Delete pop up content item "main-menu-popup" using Direct REST API call. Sample REST call: DELETE https://servicename.management.azure-api.net/subscriptions/000/resourceGroups/000/providers/Microsoft.ApiManagement/service/servicename/contentTypes/popup/contentItems/main-menu-popup?api-version=2021-04-01-preview HTTP/1.1 Authorization: SharedAccessSignature 1&20221209195 <<token removed>> where we can find this "main-menu-pop-up" content. SAS-key we need to choose default one generated by APIM right.

#1 "main-menu-pop-up" is contentItemId present in URL (modify subscription Id, resource group name, service name in the below URL for your APIM)
https://servicename.management.azure-api.net/subscriptions/000/resourceGroups/000/providers/Microsoft.ApiManagement/service/servicename/contentTypes/popup/contentItems/main-menu-popup?api-version=2021-04-01-preview

#2 SAS token can be generated from portal or programmatically as described here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/apimanagement/apimanagementrest/azure-api-management-rest-api-authentication#ManuallyCreateToken
