It randomly stopped working and won't open at all, I can't find SearchHost.exe to check if it's enabled and I am seriously stressed because I can't open certain files or my driver installer without searching

Finally found a fix that worked for me

    1. Windows + R Type 'netplwiz'
    2. Click on Add > Sign in without a Microsoft account > Local Account > Type a User > Press Next.
    3. Click on created account > Properties > Group Membership > Select Admin > Press Apply.
    4. Sign out and log into new account test search is working > Sign out of that profile and back into main profile search should now be working on your old profile.
    5. Windows + R Type 'netplwiz' > Delete that new profile that you made

    1. Select Start > Settings.
    2. In Windows Settings, select Update & Security > Troubleshoot. Under Find and fix other problems, select Search and Indexing.
    3. Run the troubleshooter and select any problems that apply. Windows will try to detect and solve them.
