How to ingest data from application insights to data explorer

I added an Application Insights cluster into Data Explorer. I want to ingest data from a database inside that cluster. But it seems that I'm not authorized to access that database. The suggested solution was to navigate to the permission tab and grant permission. But the permission tab is missing from the menu.

How did you add Application Insights cluster to Data Explorer? Is there a doc link that you followed?

Can you please share the link where the suggested solution to "..navigate to permission.." was mentioned?

I am trying to get this because data in Applicaiton Insights workspace is collected either via SDK or through Application Insights API. I am not aware of a way where you can directly import the data in AppInsights Cluster.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

@PRADEEPCHEEKATLA That is the default database provided by them which I too can ingest. But it is the QA Report Ai database that I don't have permission over. Also, I don't have any option to check the permissions.

Under ADX free clusters - you have only one cluster named MyFreeCluster - you are allowed to ingest data into MyFreeCluster and you will not have accesss to any other ADX clusters.

I'm not sure - how are able to select ADX cluster: QA Report ai?

You can ingest data using MyFreeCluster without any issue.
