How to get Excel live on surface hub to work

Question

Excel live used to work on Surface Hub but now presents a lock image and a request access button.

Wondering if the Teams team can let us know if they are working on a fix as it used to work perfectly.

It appears to be a permissions issue since if we share the document with the Surface Hub resource account ahead of time then it works fine. However this is simply a workaround since the Surface Hub is part of the same tenant it should not be required to have it shared ahead of time.

Please advise if possible.
