So since Microsoft disabled IE, I'm trying to get or camera system viewer to work in Edge IE mode. My problem is, whenever I put in the IP of our NVR, Edge opens a window in IE which sends it back to Edge then back to IE then Edge. This goes on for a few minutes. Why is Edge redirecting to IE. I've reset all my setting in Edge and have done a repair, but nothing changes. We have pc's here that work perfectly with this in IE mode.
Yes, I'm in IE mode
Hi @Ron Duckworth
Which version of OS and Edge do you use? How do you set IE mode sites, using group policy or Edge settings?
Could you please provide screenshots of this page edge://compat/enterprise and this page edge://compat/iediagnostic?

HI Yu Zhou, The registry value was already "2". When I disable internet explorer as a standalone browser. It does not go to IE and back to edge but just opens a new tab in edge then closes then opens again and keeps doing this for a few minutes then ask if I want to save this download.
Hi @Ron Duckworth
It's strange that IE mode redirects to IE. Do you just visit the link http://192.168.0.139/web_viewer2.html in Edge? The link shows in IE download popup seems different from what you set in IE mode setting.
You can have another try with reinstalling Internet Explorer 11 in Windows Features.
Besides, if you configure another site in IE mode setting, such as https://learn.microsoft.com/, will it load in Edge IE mode successfully?
Hi @Ron Duckworth
I also find that this policy Send all intranet sites to Internet Explorer may lead to the issue. Could you please navigate to edge://policy/ in Edge to check if you have this policy configured?
