Ethernet Throughput Goes to 0 and staggers around 8-24 kbps with some spikes

Hi all,

Recently I have noticed that my internet throughput goes to 0kbps very often and stays that way, with some spikes to 24kbps and sometimes much higher but always returning back to 0. I don't notice any significant difference in my internet speeds however, and the speed test does seem to indicate that as well. Nevertheless, I am still concerned as I often monitor my internet speeds on Task Manager and it was always up to 30Mbps, never as low as this. I noticed this thread (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1028520/ethernet-throughput-keeps-randomly-dropping-to-0-e) but nothing from there has resolved this issue.

Could anyone help with this? Thanks!

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to Ethernet throughput goes to 0kbps.

    1. Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose.
    2. Update Ethernet or LAN card drivers from Vendor website
    3. Try to disable IPV6 from TCP\IP Properties.
    4. Try to Replace LAN cable to different Switch or Router port and also Reboot Router or Access Point.
