Hi,

Is there a way to automatically delete a file in a blob storage account when a new file is added?

I use the export in Azure Cost Management and every day I have a new file and I would like that when I have this new file it overwrites the old one to have only the most recent file.

Yes, you can overwrite the old file with the new file in Azure Blob Storage. You can use the Put Blob operation to overwrite the contents of a blob. If you want to keep the previous version of the blob, you can enable blob versioning. Blob versioning automatically saves the state of a blob in a previous version when the blob is overwritten.

You can also enable soft delete for blobs to protect your data so that you can more easily recover your data when it's erroneously modified or deleted by an application or by another storage account user. Soft delete for blobs protects your data so that you can more easily recover your data when it's erroneously modified or deleted by an application or by another storage account user.

You can enable soft delete for blobs by using the Azure portal, Azure CLI, or Azure PowerShell. You can find more information on how to enable soft delete for blobs in the following documentation:

I have requirement like to delete the blobs automatically after 10 mins after it's get uploaded. Can we do through Azure SDK?
