Do IIS Logs collected by AMA still use a system managed storage account

Hi,

When IIS logs are collected using the legacy agent, the logs are first uploaded to a system-managed storage account. This is problematic if you have machines with no Internet access. There was an option to configure a user-managed storage account for this purpose, but it never worked for me (about 8 months ago).

Now that I can collect IIS logs with the AMA, is this still an issue?

    Hi @Jeremy Hagan ,

Azure Monitor Agent doesn't support user-managed storage accounts. It only supports uploading to a Log Analytics Workspace through a data collection endpoint. Regarding the no internet access though, one workaround is to use private endpoint using data collection rules, endpoints and Azure Monitor Private Link Scope.
