Download error i have struggled with for a while

i am trying to download something and it says the feature you are trying to use is on a network resoursce that is unavailable enter an alternative path to a folder containing package 'vc_runtimeminimum_x86.msi' and this also popsup whilst trying to install visual c++ redist package , thanks .Taylor

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Please try to download this Visual C++ Redistributable package separately and right-click it to run it as administrator then check if this error disappears.

If this package still can’t be installed, please try to download this troubleshooter, select "installing", and select the package that you are going to install. If it doesn’t work, please try to uninstall any old/similar version of this Visual C++ redistributable package/runtime libraries by using the troubleshooter and install the latest version of Visual C++ Redistributable package again.

Besides, please try to disable antivirus/proxy/extension temporarily while installing Visual C++ Redistributable package. Try to reboot your machine and retry installing the package if necessary.
