Hello @HirojiOkada ,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
May I ask if this issue appeared when you were installing VS?
If so, please first try to download a new VS bootstrapper file from here: Downloads. And save it to another drive’s clean folder, right-click this file and run it as administrator, check if it works.
Please also try to reboot your machine, update Windows OS(if there’s any Windows Update error in Settings > Update& Security > Windows Update, please try to fix them first) and retry installing VS. Please make sure that there’s no proxy/rule/extension/antivirus/group policy which may prevent you from installing VS(disable it temporarily to install VS, if possible).
If above methods don’t work, please try following methods to narrow down this issue.
- Please try to use Troubleshooter tool and then retry installing VS.
- Run CMD as administrator > run
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
command and make sure that no error shows. After that runsfc /scannow
command. - Make sure that you have full permissions(administrator permissions) on your machine.
BTW, did you perform any operations or get any errors before you install Visual Studio?
Please feel free to contact us.
Sincerely,
Tianyu
