I logged into my personal email on the web, and a user sent me emails that were always found in spam.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

There are numerous reasons emails might be identified as spam.

    • If you reported an email as junk by mistake, go to your Junk Email folder, select the message and this time select Report > Not Junk.
    • Outlook.com considers emails from your contacts to be important, so you can simply add an email address to your contacts. Emails from that sender shouldn’t be marked as spam in the future. To do this, click an email from that sender and locate the sender’s email address at the top of the email. Hover your mouse cursor over the sender’s name or email address and a pane will appear. Click the “…” menu button and click “Add to Contacts.” Enter whatever information you want for the contact and then click “Save” to add the email address to your contacts.
    • Messages from addresses or domains on the safe senders list won't get moved to your Junk Email folder. Refer to this article to add the email address to safe sender list: Block senders or unblock senders in Outlook

Spam filters are generally triggered by any # of reasons:

    • Messages from recipients on the spam watch list that is maintained by companies
    • Forwarded messages that came from people on the list or for which there are lots of people and/or the forwarded message keeps getting forwarded
    • Keywords in the subject or body that look suspect

If you really trust emails from someone then go to your safe sender list and add their email address. This causes emails from them to not be marked as spam. Just be careful because if their account ever gets hacked then the spam filter won't catch it anymore.
