Microsoft External Connector License

Question

Hello , we have bought Windows Server 2022 Remote Desktop Services External Connector.

We installed License server , without install any licenses, server is added in RDS Deployment RD Licensing - mode Per User.

The license server is also Connection Broker in our RD Farm.

We installed RD Session host servers and they have been added to session collection.

In the RD Licensing Diagnoser the status is "The Remote Desktop Session Host server is in Per User licensing mode and No Redirector Mode, but license server does not have any installed licenses with the following attributes:Product version: Windows Server 2022
Licensing mode: Per User"

I am not sure how exactly works activation of External Connector.

Maybe we are doing something wrong , or missing something....

Can you please help with some information?

Do not install any licenses on the Terminal Server License Server.

This article describes how to install and to configure the external connector for a Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 terminal server or Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Session Host server. A terminal server is a server that has Terminal Server enabled.

We installed license server on RD Session host server without install any licenses.

How can we found out is there an active External Connector license ?
