Microsoft Authenticator App not working correctly with iPhone 14 Pro

When trying to log into the Teams or Outlook app it takes me to the Authenticator app. It provides a 2-digit number and asks me to open the Authenticator app but I'm already in the app. This is a pop-up window that should be opening seperately in Teams but instead opens in the Authenticator app. I reload the Authenticator app and it just comes up with a new 2 digit number on the same screen. There is no place to enter the number in.

When opening the Authenticator App on its own, no numbers display. Brand new iPhone 14 Pro. iOS 16.3.1 The latest versions of all apps are being used.
