Hello,

I have configured Azure Backup Server on a Windows Server 2019 machine, and it successfully backs up data from shared network folders. However, I am experiencing difficulties connecting to VMWare vCenter.

I have already verified that telnet from MABS to VMWare vCenter over TCP port 443 is working, and I have checked the account credentials and certificate. Despite these measures, I am still unable to establish a connection to VMWare vCenter.

Do you have any suggestions for troubleshooting this issue

Is your VMware-based server an on-premise one or hosted outside Azure and what is your VMware ESXi version?

There is some helpful information about VMware ESXi 6.7 here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/259426/facing-issue-to-back-up-on-prem-vmware-vm-to-azure
