Azure Virtual Desktop or RDP sessions not redirecting Smart Card Drivers

Dear All,
We have a setup where local smart drivers are not being redirected to server in an Azure Virtual Desktop environment. Printers and local mapped drive are being redirected without any issue.
I have tried it trhough the Microsoft Remote Desktop app and Remote Desktop Connection both having Smart Card option enabled.
What could be the problem?

Make sure that the Smartcard Driver is present on the host machine. Not the reader driver but the smart card driver itself. This will result in no SC being found after attempting redirection.

Configuring device redirection for your Azure Virtual Desktop environment allows you to use printers, USB devices, microphones, and other peripheral devices in the remote session. Can you please make sure the host pool RDP Properties setup for smart card redirection?
If this is setup correctly and you are running into the redirection issues, I would recommend you to open a support case for investigating this further.

I have enabled it however i am still facing issue.
I have installed the smart card driver on the remote server and made sure that the policies within the Azure host environment are set up correctly.
Can i raise the ticket through here?

This issue needs deeper investigation. Support team will be able to check and help on this. I would recommend you to open a azure support case.
If you don't have a support plan enabled on your subscription, I request you to send an email to AzCommunity@Microsoft.com with Subject as "Attn:Vikas" referencing this thread along with your subscription ID. I can then enable your subscription with a one-time free technical support.
Once the issue is resolved, request you to post the resolution here for the benefit of community.
