Excel Web - Enabling collapsing/expanding of grouped columns in a protected worksheet

Hello there,

I've got a protected worksheet with grouped columns. I solved the issue of enabling the expanding/collapsing by using a VBA script enabling outlining, which works fine when using the desktop application.

However, I've not been able to solve this issue for users that might access the file via the Excel Web version. Any solutions to this issue?

Hi @Jan Uhrhammer,

When you try to Protect Sheet, check the option Format Cloumns and Format Rows:
