I purchased the new MAC office 2019 and successful to install in new Mac mini2 (M2). Unfortunately, I have a problem when open the word, excel document to show the alert: "Word cannot open the document: user does not have access privileges." Also, can't save the word document.

I tried to search the solution from google and other forums. But it seems not a good way to fix.

    Hi @Kris Li,

Did this problem appear in all files?

Where did you save the file?

Try to check if this problem is existed in New file and save it in desktop.

If you open the file from shard folder, please check if your mac have permission to write and delete the floder.

Try to provide more information about the problem and I'm glad to help you.

The Grant File Access message is required by Apple to meet their requirements for sandboxed applications in macOS. Here is Ron de Bruin's page about this problem and showing a potential workaround: https://macexcel.com/examples/setupinfo/sandbox/
