I can see all the information about the subscription and the Azure DB, Webservice, function apps, etc... in our azure subscription but I do not have the ability to deploy to or restart function apps, web services. It seems like my account does not have the correct rolls assigned.

I go under the login in the upper right hand corner and click permissions on "My Permissions" it only says this.

I am supposed to have full visibility to the subscription and access to the subscription.

I see the correct subscription name, under that it only says this.

You have the following access:

  • Your account '*********@outlook.com' has been assigned the role 'User Access Administrator' (type BuiltInRole) and has access to /

Go to subscription access control (IAM)

    Hello @jayderkmn jay

Thank you for posting this concern on this community space.

I have read your whole case scenario description and I just wanted to make some questions down below:

-Was your role supposed to be admin/root?

-Did you make any role assignment change previously?

-Have you switch the toggle option into YES at the Azure AD overview and then properties as shown on the next image?

    User's image

-Is there any other admin user or emergency admin user on this tenant besides your user?

I hope that will work for you.

    Looking forward to your feedback,

    Cheers,

    Hi,

In the Azure portal, please navigate to your subscription, click on Access control (IAM) blade on the left, click Add -- Add role assignment, select Owner, Next, click Select members and select your account, Next, click Review + assign. After the role assignment has completed, sign out of the portal, wait 1 minute, then sign back in again and test.

Please click Accept Answer if the above was helpful. If you need additional help please leave a comment.

    Thanks.

    -TP
