How can I enable new/reply signatures through the registry?

Hi, I originally posted this request to the Outlook community (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/how-can-i-enable-newreply-signatures-through-the/5f3a1324-4005-4e69-9ade-4958d490f4fb), but they were unable to help and sent me here I have to use Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook (GWSMO); however, the signature option to set a new and reply signature is broken. When you open the Signature dialogue, you cannot see any signature on the computer, none of the dropdowns work, you cannot create a new signature, and you cannot set a signature for new or reply emails. The signatures are in the correct location of %AppData%\Microsoft\Signatures, and I can use a signature for an email by selecting a specific signature of an email. I recently created a new Window profile, so many of my settings were in the old one. This must have worked at some point in the past, as my new and reply emails had the correct signatures applied using my GWSMO account. I guess there is a registry entry somewhere where I can set this option. Does anyone know what it is? Cheers

    Hi @Swin ,

Each signature created via Outlook will exist in 3 different formats: Plain Text (txt), HTML (htm) and Rich Text (rtf). You’ll need all these formats. File location C:\Users%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures 11

In fact, it is not recommended that youenable new/reply signatures through the registry, each account in the profile will have "new" and "reply-forward" signing keys under the account key, this process is complicated, you can also check this thread

If you happen to have formatted your old computer, or lost your signature, you can always recreate signature by copying it from one of the previously sent messages in its Sent Items folder.
