How do I make a Wordpress website?

I'm familiar with Bluehost, but i'm trying to switch to Azure. I went to Marketplace and searched for Wordpress. I clicked Wordpress from Niles Partner Inc and Wordpress from the app from Microsoft. When I click on "create" it takes me to the "Create a virtual machine" page. I'm just confused with how to get started with a Wordpress website. I started with the free Azure, but switched to the pay as you go plan.

    You can follow the official tutorial to install WordPress on Azure App Service (Linux), https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/app-service/quickstart-wordpress There are other alternative ways (like using your own containers), but you can switch to them later when you need more capabilities.

    Hi @Lily L , adding to Lex's answer- when you are in Azure Marketplace make sure to select "Wordpress on App Service" if you want it supported by App Service User's image

    After you CREATE, you will be taking to a page that allows you to create your wordpress site on Azure. This is what it should look like: User's image
