SharePoint List Column Validation user message not longer displayed

Hi All, I noticed this morning, when doing some routine testing, that the User Message for a particular Column Validation rule is not longer displayed and instead a default message is shown: User's image

The Validation rule and User Message are basic and look like this: User's image

This was previously working. I've also noticed the same thing with List Validations (as opposed to Column Validation) on other Lists that I manage - previously the user message would be displayed but this "Server Error" message is now displayed. Has something changed? Any help or advise would be greatly welcomed. Mike

    I have tested the list validation you provided and the I can reproduce this issue.

    And I have tested validations in different lists and different site collections, the issue also occurs.

    In my opinion, this is a temporary issue from Microsoft's end. I will suggest you open a service request with Microsoft directly and report this issue.
