Hello, Just looking for some information on a weird issue I've seen a number of times. If a user hasn't logged into a machine for a period of time (a few months) when they log in all their profile settings have been reset, and any files they had in their profile are missing. I initially thought a GPO may be responsible, but their profile hasn't been deleted - just the content and settings of the profile (desktop files, preferences, bookmarks etc.) Has anyone come across this, and if so what was the root cause?

Hi Darren Are you sure that they are not logging in to an temporary user profile, when this happens? I have seen this sometimes, but in this case the old profile does still exist, but is just not used.
