Issues viewing private appointments Outlook 2016

Hi all, I'm struggling with one user viewing private calendar items of another user. We've set the the access rights to editor, and delegate and CanViewPrivateItems permission flags. What's really strange is how the calendar mounts. On the user who have issues it shows wrong location (using a display name) and MAPI type, whereas on a test account is REST type and showing correct location. We tried removing permissions and readding it, creating new profile, updating Office to newest version and nothing seemed to work. Much appreciated, Kacper chris

Hi @Kacpersdz , According to my research, it seems that shared calendars have not been upgraded to the new shared platform in Microsoft 365. And you can upgrade the shared calendar manually:

In Outlook, select File >Account Settings >Account Settings.

    1. Select the Microsoft Exchange account that you use to manage someone else's calendar and choose Change...
    2. Choose More Settings, followed by the Advanced tab.
    3. Select the checkbox next to: Turn on shared calendar improvements. Capture1

Thank you for you answer Faery Fu-MSFT, however after the last Office security patching, when calendar improvements are switched on, the calendar added to Outlook are simply not adding on. Hence why we had to disable this feature..
