Hello @Tao,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
What type of project you are using? Are you using a third-party project or using your own project?
Before you removed this filter, did this project build and run without any errors?
If the error also appeared before you removed the filter, then please make sure that you have installed the necessary workloads, components, tools, extensions… for this project.
If the error only appeared when you removed the filter, then please try to understand this project and the extension/resources that it is relied on. Confirm that the filter can be directly deleted without destroying any structure.
Please also try to remove the project cache(remove the hidden .vs, bin and obj folders in your solution/project folder) and build your project again.
If it is possible, please try to perform the same operation on another machine and check if the error appears again. This is helpful to narrow down this issue.
Feel free to let us know the results.
Sincerely,
Tianyu
