Sharing links from OneDrive / Sharepoint and problem with verification of internal recipients

I have read through all the questions regarding this and none of them answers my question or fixes my issue. I work on a Mac on my desktop with outlook, and use sharepoint in my browser. I have my onedrive folders connected to my finder so technically work on my desktop / cloud same time. My issue is - when I paste a link to a file from sharepoint into the body of an email in my desktop version of outlook to people who are internal and have access to my link - I get the notification "we were unable to verify if recipients can access a link in your message" Even though I am signed in, and the person I am emailing definitely has access. However, when I log in to outlook in my browser, I can paste the link and it is fine, no message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my outlook for mac on my desktop and this still happens. I am definitely signed in. What else can I do to try and fix this?

    As i know, in such situations Outlook may not be able to check whether the recipients can access the links in a message, and then display warnings:
