Thanks for your question. As per Microsoft Document, If you delete the authenticator app by mistake, there's no way to undo it. You'll have to add the authenticator app again, following the steps in the Set up the authenticator app section of this article. Thank you!

If you are the only global admin on the account and are blocked entirely, you can reach out to the Azure Data Protection team to restore access. 866-807-5850

Also, for the future, you can create an emergency access account (break glass) in Azure AD. This account will help prevent being accidentally locked out of your Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) organization because you can't sign in for any reason. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/roles/security-emergency-access

Hi yonatan littner Thanks for reaching out on Microsoft Q&A! Just for my understanding: are you locked out due to your Authenticator being deleted? If so: another Admin should be able to set your account to re-register your MFA data. When you need a deleted Authenticator to be completely restored, without a backup, I’m afraid it’s not possible. Once gone you’re not able to restore it. In this case you should reconfigure your accounts to use the new Authenticator app, which can be done through the steps below (for your Microsoft account), and backup codes for all other accounts.
