Hi @Robin S ,
In order to verify you issue, can you provide some related information?
What detailed version of our look are you using? (File > Office Account > About Outlook). Outlook works best when it's up to date. We recommend setting Windows Update to automatically download and install recommended updates. Bug fixes, new features, and performance enhancements are released regularly.
To avoid conflicts brought by add-ins, try running Outlook Safe Mode: Press Windows key +R, type outlook /safe in running command. If Outlook safe mode works, disable the add-ins following steps mentioned below and determine the problem causing add-in:
- Click on File menu, click Options, Add-ins, Go button besides Manage: Com-in Add.
- Check if there are add-ins listed, clear the checkbox.
- Close the Office program and restart it.
- Disable each add-in one at a time, restart the Outlook, and repeat the above procedure.
Repairing your Office programs can resolve issues with Outlook not responding or freezing. Errors in Microsoft 365 files are repaired automatically.
- Quit any Microsoft 365 programs that are running.
- In Control Panel, choose Programs and Features.
- Right-click Microsoft Office and then choose Change.
Corrupted profiles can also cause problems, create a new profile to see if the problem reproduces: Go to Control Pane > Mail > Show Profiles > Add, then add your account.
