I am unable to join my azure vm to the azure ad domain

Hi there, I just setup new azure vm, this is purely cloud bases vm and setup hence I did not enable Azure AD DS service, instead i left with the defauly Azure AD it comes when I have Azure subscribtion created. now i installed a win server vm on azure and tried to the join this vm to the zure domain which is in same network and same resrourse group. But when I try to join it says "an active direcory domain controller could not be contacted. The following error occurred when DNS was queried for the service location (SRV) resource record used to locate an Active Directory Domain Controller (AD DC) for domain "whitejason.com": The error was: "DNS name does not exist." (error code 0x0000232B RCODE_NAME_ERROR) Please help

    Hello @Mohammad Haneef , to join a Windows Server machine to Azure AD you need to install Login with Azure AD extension. The "An active directory domain controller" error encountered happens when attempting to join it to an Active Directory, the on-premise version.
