I have a question about Defender for Server, MS has retired Defender for endpoint Server since last August. If I have to renew, I have to move to Defender for cloud that must be used on Azure. I would like to know if Onboard Server On-prim can we manage and integrate with MDE on security.microsoft.com? and if the name is Microsoft Will Defender for Servers Plan 1 support EDR like Defender for endpoint Server as before? In the documentation it says that the prerequisite must have MDE P2 or do I have to buy two parts? If you want EDR features as well, Defender for cloud P1 and Defender for endpoint P2. User's image

Thank you

Defender for Endpoint for servers can still be purchased from resellers as a stand-alone per-server license. The tool and documentation are directing customers to the new method.

You can activate Defender for Servers P1/P2 which includes Defender for Endpoint. You get both bundled together. This also eliminates the need to purchase or maintain a license. The Defender for Servers charge is part of the subscription bill and is only billed for active systems. Meaning you only pay for active system (no license overallocation) and you don't pay for VMs while they are deallocated.
